| Glencoe Entrance & Exit |
| During the past few years community members and surrounding area supporters have backed the idea to install an entrance and exit on the turnpike that passes by Glencoe.(Cimarron Turnpike, Hwy 412). Providing this entrance and exit would allow persons easy access to the trunpike from Highway 108 North instead of having to drive several miles out of the way to gain access to the turnpike, it would assist persons living in the corner of Noble, Pawnee and Payne counties. Not only would this exit and entrance provide the Glencoe and surrounding area persons access, but it would provide a better response to emergencies on Cimarron Turnpike, allow fire and emergency crews access to the turnpike for quicker response in case of a fire or medical needs. This area has also been named in a national magazine as part of the I-35 corridor that is expected to have exceptional growth in the next few years. PLEASE support this issue for the good of the State of Oklahoma.(All other highways crossing this turnpike have access and Glencoe is the only town right on the turnpike). |
